“A step towards cleanliness”
The 1st week of October is celebrated as a Swachhata Saptah. It was launched to spread wider awareness on sanitation and cleanliness in our premises and make hygiene a habit amongst the neighbourhood.
GURUKUL GLOBAL SCHOOL conducted Swachhata Abhiyan on Saturday, 30th September for our learners to know them Importance of cleanliness.
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was announced by Hon. Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on Indian Independence Day & launched on 2nd Oct 2014, Gandhi Jayanti. On this day, Hon. Prime Minister addressed the citizens of India in a public gathering held at Rajghat, New Delhi, India and asked everyone to join this campaign.
The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is the most significant cleanliness campaign by the Government of India. Shri Narendra Modi led a cleanliness pledge at India Gate, which about thirty lakh government employees across the country joined.
Today our learners were participated in this Swachhata Abhiyan and cleaned our neighborhood area as well as some areas of wada like Tehsil Office, Wada Nagar Panchayat, Bus Stand etc.
