International Yoga Day

On June 21, 2024, our school celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and zeal. The event was organized to emphasize the importance of yoga in promoting physical and mental well-being among students and staff.

Special guest: Yoga instructor Mrs Rajashree Patil
The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the Vice Principal, Mrs. Mariya Rathod followed by a speech highlighting the significance of International Yoga Day.
Mrs. Rajshree Patil led a yoga demonstration, showcasing various asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing techniques). He explained the benefits of each posture and the correct way to perform them.
All students and staff participated in a mass yoga session on the school playground. The session included basic asanas such as Tadasana, Vrikshasana, and Savasana, making it accessible to all age groups.
